Diversity mission and goals
Through teaching, research, and service, the College of Public Health and Health Professions works to broaden understanding and strengthen attention to diversity and cultural competence and to promote efforts to enhance health equity.
The College has established three specific diversity and cultural competence goals as stated below.
1. Enhance recruitment and retention of a diverse student body and faculty.
2. Foster a culture that encourages an open and constructive dialog about cultural differences.
3. Promote cultural competence across academic programs.
