Suwannee River Area Health Education Center presents this first annual educational conference to provide healthcare professionals with a better understanding of gay, lesbian, bisexual, non-heterosexual, and transgender populations. The conference goal is to provide information to create a climate of inclusivity and openness in healthcare settings and to increase healthcare providers’ knowledge of health disparities.

Target audience: Physicians, nurses, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, researchers, educators, social workers, mental health professionals, healthcare administrators, nursing home administrators, occupational therapists, and students from across Florida

Call for Posters!

We are looking for poster submissions for the conference. Posters may be theoretical or empirical, and content previously or currently under consideration for publication may be submitted. Submissions are due by  Tuesday, March 1st.
